Macy\u2019s \u201cShop For A Cause\u201d is a unique one-day-only shopping event created to support local charities\u2019 fundraising efforts, and has helped raised more than $44 million for charities across the country since 2006. Customers can participate in this year\u2019s event by purchasing shopping passes from Can Do MS now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMacy&#8217;s is committed to giving back, both nationally and to our local communities,\u201d said Martine Reardon, Macy\u2019s chief marketing officer. \u201cFor the last eight years, Macy\u2019s &#8216;Shop For A Cause&#8217; program has provided our customers and associates a unique opportunity to show their support and give back to their local community organizations, while also enjoying great savings at Macy&#8217;s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By purchasing a shopping pass from Can Do MS, customers support lifestyle empowerment programs for people living with MS and their support partners while enjoying a day of spectacular discounts, entertainment and special events at Macy\u2019s. Pass holders will receive special discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day, but some exclusions apply.<\/p>\n<p>Macy\u2019s has provided Can Do MS with shopping passes to sell for $5 each. Can Do MS will keep 100 percent of every shopping pass it sells.
