He has appeared on \u201cThe Late Show with David Letterman\u201d 26 times, making him the record-holder of any comedian performing on the show. His show is appropriate for families, which is rare in today\u2019s world of standup comedy. Not that we don\u2019t present comedians whose material could make a sailor blush, (comedy is very popular with our audiences) but we love that Brian keeps it clean and hilarious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Brian Joseph Regan grew up in a large family with seven brothers and sisters in Miami, Florida, and was always a fan of Steve Martin, The Smothers Brothers and Johnny Carson. He attended Heidelberg College in Ohio where he played wide receiver on the football team.  He was originally on track to become an accountant, but along the way a football coach encouraged him to consider theater and communications. During his final semester in 1980, Regan dropped out of school to pursue his passion of stand-up comedy. He ultimately completed his degree in 1997. One of Brian&#8217;s brothers, Dennis Regan, also makes his living as a stand up comedian.<\/p>\n<p>Regan has released a number of CDs and DVDs including &#8220;The Epitome of Hyperbole&#8221; and &#8220;Brian Regan Standing Up.&#8221; His 2004 DVD &#8220;Brian Regan Live&#8221; was a huge success, selling more than 150,000 copies and consistently topping the charts on iTunes.<\/p>\n<p>The Peoria Journal Star said, \u201cBrian Regan can turn the most mundane situations &#8211; like going to the eye doctor to get fitted for glasses, or trying to decide how many Fig Newtons to eat in one sitting &#8211; into side-splitting stand-up material.\u201d Multiple generations of audience members will enjoy this show.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2010, Brian released his highly anticipated new album, \u201cAll By Myself,\u201d as a digital download only available at Brian\u2019s online store.
