The Town of Gypsum announced today that country sensation, Easton Corbin, and country legend, Mark Chesnutt and will appear at the 32nd Annual Gypsum Daze Concert scheduled for July 19, 2014. The Gypsum Daze event also features three days of family fun including a free kids carnival, community parade, Gypsum Creek Cruisers Car Show, Talent Show, Food & Merchant village, BMX stunt performances, and so much more.<\/p>\n

Gypsum Daze features as the headlining act Easton Corbin. \u201cEaston Corbin has one of those rare, glorious voices that was made\u2014just made\u2014for singing country music.\u201d \u2013American Songwriter<\/p>\n

With two No. 1 singles, multiple awards and nominations, plus performances on some of the biggest stages in the world, Easton Corbin made an auspicious entry with his self-titled debut album. The release of his sophomore effort, \u201cAll Over the Road\u201d, builds on that success and delivers music that confirms that Easton Corbin is here to stay.<\/p>\n

When Easton broke on the scene in 2009 with not one, but two, No. 1 singles, \u201cA Little More Country Than That\u201d and \u201cRoll With It,\u201d and a Top 15 hit, \u201cI Can\u2019t Love You Back,\u201d the country music world was put on notice. He became the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1. Billboard named Easton the Top New Country Artist of 2010 and named “Roll With It” the No. 6 Hot Country Song of the Year. He was ranked No. 9 on Billboard\u2019s list of Top Country Artists-Male, listed between Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw. *<\/p>\n

Easton debuted his new single \u201cClockwork\u201d in January and Gypsum Daze is proud to be on his 2014 tour.<\/p>\n

In addition, Gypsum Daze welcomes country legend Mark Chesnutt. Mark Chesnutt is one of Country\u2019s true musical treasures. Critics have hailed him as a classic Country singer of the first order and some of Country music\u2019s most elite entertainers, from George Jones to George Strait, echo the sentiment.<\/p>\n

Mark Chesnutt\u2019s stature is easily gauged. He has 14 No. 1 hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums and five gold records to his credit. He maintains a front-and-center presence with a hefty tour schedule year after year.<\/p>\n
