Chef Kelly Liken invites guests for a book signing of \u201cMycophilia: Revelations from the Weird World of Mushrooms\u201d and a three-course wild mushroom dinner <\/p>\n

WHAT:<\/b> On Sunday, August 12, celebrity chef and owner Kelly Liken will host special guest, cookbook author, food writer and president of the New York Mycological Society, Eugenia Bone at her namesake Vail, CO. restaurant for an all-fungi feast during her Summer Harvest Sunday Supper. Guests will have a chance to meet the author for a book signing of her recent release \u201cMycophilia: Revelations from the Weird World of Mushrooms.\u201d Following the signing, Liken will showcase a three-course wild mushroom menu ($49++) as Bone speaks to the mysteries of mycology, including the flavors, culture, and science of wild mushrooms such as those grown throughout the Rocky Mountain region. <\/p>\n

Inspired by the weekly Sunday Vail Farmer\u2019s Market, the largest market in the state of Colorado, Liken forages the expansive marketplace, speaking with the farmers as she sources for her three-course Harvest Sunday Supper menu. The vibrant colors and bounty of flavors found throughout the market help Liken to spontaneously evolve the menu allowing her to offer something different to diners each week. <\/p>\n
