It all started with a closet \u201coffice\u201d and an Apple Macintosh desktop computer.<\/p>\n

Twenty-five years later, Avid Design CEO, Brad Farans, looks back on the company\u2019s evolution into a full-service firm, currently providing businesses and organizations of all sizes and backgrounds with web, design and marketing services.<\/p>\n

\u201cAvid has evolved as much as this valley in the past couple of decades,\u201d said Farans. \u201cIt\u2019s been a wildly fun ride and we\u2019re excited for the journey ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avid\u2019s roots are in website design and development, producing the very first \u201cdigital face\u201d for more than a handful of Vail Valley businesses when the Internet revolution took hold in the late \u201890s. This team is, in fact, so rooted in the Valley\u2019s history and culture, they had a hand in building one of the community\u2019s long-standing celebrations, Taste of Vail, from a beloved local event into a globally recognized affair and have put their skills to work for other iconic Vail brands like The Golden Bear, Garfinkel\u2019s and Solaris.<\/p>\n

After recognizing the rapidly evolving need for services that support a website past its launch, Farans started building a team of professionals to round out the boutique agency\u2019s capabilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdding design and marketing services to our list was a natural next step,\u201d said Farans. \u201cThey supplemented our client websites by not only enhancing their visibility, but also provided our team with a more long-lasting and personal relationship with these clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

No quarter century crisis here. In lieu of a candy apple red convertible, Avid opted for a brand new website<\/a> and a community-focused gift card giveaway<\/a> with a surprise or two in mind for later this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to the clients who\u2019ve worked with us for the past 25 years, I\u2019d say we\u2019ve aged like fine bourbon!\u201d<\/p>\n
