Resort Boasts Most Open Terrain <\/em>in Colorado with 5,289 Skiable Acres<\/em><\/p>\n

VAIL, Colo. \u2013 Dec. 28, 2018 \u2013<\/strong> Following 13 inches of snow in the past seven days and with more in the forecast as the New Year approaches, Vail Mountain<\/a> is now 100 percent open. All lifts at Vail Mountain are operational for the season, providing access to 5,289 skiable acres of terrain, the most currently open in Colorado.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a legendary start to the season, with the second-earliest opening for Blue Sky Basin in history, to offering all 5,289 skiable acres before the New Year,\u201d said Doug Lovell, Vail chief operating officer. \u201cWith excellent early season snow conditions, this has been the strongest start to the season in decades, thanks to the hard work of our mountain operations teams and a little help from Mother Nature.\u201d<\/p>\n

Skiers and snowboarders looking for the best prices on lift tickets can purchase tickets online in advance at www.snow.com\/lifttickets<\/a>. By purchasing lift tickets seven or more days in advance online, guests will receive the biggest savings and the lowest price, guaranteed. Lift tickets can be purchased online up until midnight the night before a ski day to save money off the ticket window price.<\/p>\n
