Burlington, VT (March 5, 2018)\u00a0\u2013The\u00a036th<\/sup>\u00a0annual Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships<\/a>\u00a0announce a packed programming schedule covering five days of halfpipe and slopestyle competition March 6th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0\u2013 March 10th<\/sup>. This complete coverage includes event finals programming on FS2, all event finals streaming live on\u00a0Red Bull TV<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0plus live broadcasts of semi-final and final events and the Junior Jam on\u00a0BurtonUSOpen.com<\/a>. The 36th<\/sup>\u00a0annual Burton U.S. Open at\u00a0Vail Mountain<\/a>\u00a0is the first event following the 2018\u00a0PyeongChang Olympics, and will be host to\u00a0an incredible field of medalists competing in halfpipe and slopestyle including Gold Medalists\u00a0Chloe Kim (USA),\u00a0Anna Gasser (AUT),\u00a0Jamie Anderson (USA), Red Gerard (USA), Sebastien Toutant (CAN) and so many more.<\/p>\n

Live programming on the\u00a0BurtonUSOpen.com<\/a>\u00a0broadcast begins on Tuesday, March 6th<\/sup>\u00a0at 12:00pm EST with the Burton U.S. Open Junior Jam presented by\u00a0Clif Bar. This legendary event features the world\u2019s top halfpipe boy and girl groms under age 15 battling it out to secure a spot alongside the professionals in the Burton U.S. Open halfpipe semi-finals. Complete coverage of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s slopestyle and halfpipe semi-finals follows, beginning with women\u2019s slopestyle semi-finals\u00a0at Vail Mountain\u2019s Golden Peak on\u00a0Wednesday, March 7th<\/sup>\u00a0at 12:00pm EST, followed by men\u2019s slopestyle semi-finals at 2:30pm EST. Thursday\u2019s schedule features women\u2019s halfpipe semi-finals at 12:00pm EST followed by men\u2019s halfpipe semi-finals at 2:30pm EST. Each field will be narrowed down to six women and 10 men heading into the Friday and Saturday finals. The semi-finals\u00a0livestream coverage will include colorful commentary by announcers Tom Monterosso and Jack Mitrani.<\/p>\n

Television coverage on FS2 begins with the slopestyle finals events on Friday, March 9th<\/sup>\u00a0with men\u2019s slopestyle finals at 9:00pm EST followed by women\u2019s slopestyle finals at 11:00 pm EST. Coverage continues on Saturday, March 10th<\/sup>with men\u2019s halfpipe finals\u00a0at 8:00pm EST followed by women\u2019s halfpipe finals at 10:00pm EST.\u00a0Commentary will be provided by Preston Strout and Brandon Graham.
