1. INCubatorEdu<\/strong><\/p>\n

The INCubatoredu class where we need mentors is rockin and rolling. I have four awesome teams that need four awesome mentors who can work with them as they grow their businesses over the course of the school year. I would say my teams will be ready to take on mentors in two weeks. The role of an INCubatoredu mentor is a person who is willing to work with a young team of entrepreneurs who have gone through ideation and will be embarking on developing their business plans and readying them for pitching. They may also launch their companies on lean budgets and get started more quickly than you would expect.<\/p>\n

We are also looking for coaches in all aspects of business to come in and teach the kids on various topics from ideation, branding, marketing, business plan development, and more.<\/p>\n

Additionally, I have two Entrepreneurship classes. Those are both filled with great kids who will be studying business and the art of entrepreneurial pursuit for one semester. I am also looking for experts (can be the same experts) to come in and talk to them about ideation, marketing, branding, banking, financing, business plan creation and more.<\/p>\n

2. Group mentors through YP365<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seeking Group Mentors!
\nStarting Fall 2017, YouthPower365 is introducing a new college & career readiness mentoring program for 6th graders in Eagle County Schools.<\/p>\n

What is group mentoring?
\nGroup mentoring is an avenue to support, guide and empower a small group of students during a critical time in their lives. YP365\u2019s inaugural year of group mentoring will pave the way for one-on-one mentors to be introduced as students\u2019 progress to high school. In conjunction with mentoring, students and their parents will also receive college and career support through YouthPower365 programming. Two Mentors will be assigned per group of 10-15 students for monthly meetings throughout the 2017-2018 school year. Mentors will be provided with curriculum, materials, and guidance from YouthPower365.<\/p>\n

What is the commitment?
\nMentors will be asked to attend a mandatory day-long training on September 23rd at the YouthPower365 offices in Avon. Group mentoring sessions will take place at Gypsum Creek, Eagle Valley, Berry Creek, and Homestake Peak Middle Schools during the first week of each month, October-May, and will last 1.5 hours per session. Mentors are required to be over the age of 24, must pass a background check, and must have graduated from college.<\/p>\n

3. CareerX<\/strong><\/p>\n

CareerX is also doing great work in the schools through internships and job shadowing. If we can use you for that in the future we will be certain to contact you on an individual basis.
