Occupancies were up significantly in May (+30% valley wide) and bookings made in May for the month of June were approximately 30% higher compared to last year. Looking ahead at the summer season, monthly occupancy growth over summer 2015 continues through October and overall lodging occupancy in aggregate (Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon) are up 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Special events are no doubt helping drive occupancy, primarily on weekends. Sporting events (such as the Colorado Cup soccer event, baseball tournament, World Fly Fishing Championships, and our repeat soccer programs and lacrosse are helping to drive midweek business).
