Over 160 nominations where put forth for this year\u2019s Success Awards from professionals throughout the Valley, spotlighting the hard work and dedication required to be the best in the Vail Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists were selected by a committee comprised of last year\u2019s Success Award winners: Frances Barela, Town of Gypsum; Ceil Folz; Chris Gallegos, Ski Butlers; Amanda Jessen and Andy Jessen, Bonfire Brewing; Kim Langmaid, Walking Mountains Science Center; Kelli McDonald, Town of Vail; Todd Mossa, The Wren; Wendy Rimel, Education Foundation of Eagle County; Marisa Selvy, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company; and John Shipp, Roadhouse Hospitality Group.<\/p>\n<p>After reviewing all submitted applications, the Selection Committee choose the following top three finalists for each category.<\/p>\n<p><u>Business of the Year:<\/u><br \/>\nCrazy Mountain Brewing Company<br \/>\nEast West Destination Hospitality<br \/>\nThe Gallegos Corporation<\/p>\n<p><u>Small Business of the Year:<\/u><br \/>\nAlpine Arts Center<br \/>\nMYPR: Malen Yantis Public Relations<br \/>\nResort Books<\/p>\n<p><u>Nonprofit of the Year:<\/u><br \/>\nHabitat for Humanity Vail Valley<br \/>\nMindSprings Health<br \/>\nSOS Outreach<\/p>\n<p><u>Small Nonprofit of the Year:<\/u><br \/>\nEagle River Youth Coalition<br \/>\nUte Springs Experiential Learning Center<br \/>\nVail Valley Charitable Fund<\/p>\n<p><u>Best Place to Work:<\/u><br \/>\nAlpine Bank<br \/>\nWalking Mountains Science Center<br \/>\nVail Valley Foundation<\/p>\n<p><u>Community Impact Award<\/u><br \/>\nAntlers at Vail<br \/>\nHabitat for Humanity Vail Valley<br \/>\nVail Valley Charitable Fund<\/p>\n<p><u>Tourism Professional of the Year<\/u><br \/>\nAmy Cassidy<br \/>\nKristen Pryor<br \/>\nKristin Yantis<\/p>\n<p><u>Young Professional of the Year<\/u><br \/>\nAmy Ben-Horin<br \/>\nGretchen Swanson<br \/>\nKristen Bertuglia<\/p>\n<p><u>Healthy Workplace Award<\/u><br \/>\nEast West Destination Hospitality<br \/>\nVail Valley Foundation<br \/>\nVail Valley Jet Center<\/p>\n<p><u>Actively Green Award<\/u><br \/>\nAlpine Bank<br \/>\nTown of Vail<br \/>\nWest Vail Liquor Mart<\/p>\n<p><u>Innovation in Local Government<\/u><br \/>\nTown of Eagle- Singletrack Sidewalks<br \/>\nTown of Gypsum- Business Grant Program<br \/>\nTown of Vail- Commission on Special Events<br \/>\nIn addition to the 11 categories mentioned above, a Vail Valley Partnership Chairman\u2019s Award and Member of the Year Award will also be presented.<\/p>\n<p>Join Vail Valley Partnership in honoring the winners at the 13<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Success Awards at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch on Friday, May 13, 2016, beginning at 11:30am.
